My lipstick collection is bordering on ridiculous but there's always room for one more in Missy's makeup bag.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on Bobbi Brown's new Art Stick liquid Lip and girls, it is gorgeous.
First impressions were good: in all my years of collecting lipsticks, never had I come across a liquid in a squeezy tube, so I was excited to give it a go.
The colour went on easily and super smooth. The first time I didn't use a liner (you'd think I would have learnt by now lol) which made keeping it inside the lines a little tricky, though the angled top definitely helps.
It takes a couple of uses to get used to applying the right amount of pressure but when you get it right, this lipstick is amazing.
It is super long wearing, highly pigmented and to my surprise I found that if, instead of applying straight to my lips and smoothing with my finger for a full colour look, I dabbed a tiny amount on my lips with my fingers, I was left with a gorgeous barely-there tint.
The result is a semi-matte finish and a lovely conditioning feel, no drying out here! It has a lightweight texture and a pleasant smell.
I also think it is worth noting that the Liquid Lip comes in a great collection of colours that are all pink/nude tones - I tried English Rose and Vintage Pink, both of which I would recommend.
