Sometimes life just gets in the way and when it does, our time in snooze-land is usually the first thing to suffer. While nothing can replace a good night’s sleep, you can easily fake forty winks with a little concealer.
Step 1
Skip the creamy concealer you normally use to cover up redness or blemishes. Your under eye area is delicate, so pick a liquid concealer that is easy to blend and a shade or two lighter than your skin tone.
Step 2
Apply your concealer in a wide upside-down triangle shape under the eyes and along your cheek bones. With the tip of your ring finger, gently pat in the concealer until it’s all blended out for a flawless finish. Blend the concealer up onto your eyelids as well, which will help hide any visible veins.
Step 3
Once you’re done, set the makeup look with a translucent powder. This will help your concealer last as you go about your day.
Step 4
For an extra boost of brightness, apply a shimmery eye shadow in a pale champagne shade to the inner corners of your eyes. The particles will reflect light, making your eyes appear brighter and wide awake!
