How to fake a good night's sleep
How to look as fresh as a daisy when you feel as tired as a worn out shoe...

Every girl needs her beauty sleep, but sometimes, due to partying or working late, we don’t get all the rest we should. The lack of sleep is going to affect your complexion, so take these three simple steps to fake an 8 hour sleep, in 5 minutes.

1. Wake up yourself and your tired skin by using a cooling moisturiser. Something like Olay Total Effects Moisturiser with Cooling Essences ($32.49) will hydrate and liven up your tired face. The dewy finish will leave a luminous yet natural healthy glow to the skin.

2. Lack of sleep often leaves dark under eye circles, which are the most obvious display of tiredness. Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roll ($19) on contains caffeine which works well to bring blood to the area restoring the natural colour and removing the darkness. Although, sometimes under eye circles are hereditary and they will need to be hidden completely. You should counteract the grey/blue tone by patting a salmon based concealor like Benefit’s Erase Paste Concealor ($47) directly over the discoloured area.

3. If you’re tired your face will most likely look monotone and dull, so you will need to add some colour to brighten things up! Fake the flush by dabbing a cheek stain like the Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain in Rose Pink ($28.95) over the areas you would naturally blush.

That's it! Do you have any other tips for looking fresh?
