Designer DETAIL - blanc+delta

Bianca Daly starts a new revolution in fashion.

This fashion week first-timer is set to impress the Aussie A-list at Australian Fashion Week with a fresh, bold, and effortlessly elegant new approach to fashion design, inspired by art, design and culture.

La Révolution

Loosely translated as “Bianca’s revolution” blanc+delta is a shining new force to be reckoned with on the catwalks. Debuting at RAFW’s New Generation parade this year, there are high hopes for the success of this burgeoning label.

It’s the intricate detailing, strong innovative silhouettes, luxurious fabrics and finishes, and bold palettes that lend a sense of excitement to blanc+delta, launched by Bianca during her final year at design school for entry into the Australian Fashion Design Awards 2004.

Chosen as a finalist from over a hundred entries in the exclusive couture category, usually reserved for more seasoned labels, Bianca established the strength of the blanc+delta label with her inspiring designs and distinct styling.

“I want to create garments that allow the wearer to feel transformed, to evoke an emotional response that goes beyond mere fabrication and silhouette to the inner experience of the individual,” Bianca says.

Bigger, stronger, better.

Blanc+delta is about to launch its runway domination with the summer/spring collection ‘Tears of an Artic Princess.’

The range draws moody inspiration from gathering rain clouds, glaciers, and silver dreams to create a range of distinctively sleek and delicately seductive designs, set to take Australian fashion by storm.

“The shape of the season is the ultra feminine mini, with thigh high dresses and skirts matched by intricately detailed, corsetry inspired tops, evoking the beauty and strength of graceful ballet costumes complete with silver taffeta ribbon finishing."

Much love goes to this fabulous silver dress (left), perfectly caputuring the beauty and the spirit of the Artic collection. We adore the fitted bodice shape with the eyecatching details, and the short (but not too short!) hemline. Perfect for those sulty summer nights and the non stop end of year parties.

At the moment, blanc+delta is mainly stocked in QLD, at Adrenalin (Gold Coast) Natalie Denning's Bam+Juju (Brisbane CBD), and Ultra Suite (Fortitude Valley). Also look out for the gorgeous goods at Entity in Chatswood Chase and Pompidou in Byron Bay, with more stockists to come very soon.
