Wonder Woman gets friendly with electro bling, and mixes it up with panthers and horses – Welcome to Fuzz Design Workshop

If you haven’t become acquainted with Fuzz Design yet, it’s likely you will very soon. Sold in most of our favourite boutiques right across Australia and the United States, chances are somebody you know owns and loves their very own piece of Fuzz.

Coming to us straight from the creative mind (and fuzzy hair) of Carmel Taylor, Fuzz was born in Sydney after Carmel’s stint at the Enmore Design Centre. Building her business with quirky homewares, funky stationary, and of course the world famous jewellery, Carmel’s inspiration came from far and wide - music, art, stenciling, graffiti art, dance and fashion.

What’s hot right now?

At the moment, you will have to get in quick to grab one of the hugely popular pieces from the laser cut Perspex jewellery range. The range includes something for everyone; from quirky and different - think horses and elephant silhouettes, to elegant and stylish – you will love the chandeliers and birds.

Some of the new Fuzz looks include raw metals – copper and brass, which create amazing chunky chains and cast brass pieces. There will also be something a little avant garde for those who like to be different – quirky rosettes and wonder woman belts.

“My favourite at the moment are the scroll earrings in either of the fluoro colours as you can wear all black and then bring the outfit to life with the earrings. Another of my favourites is the ‘I’m in chains’ clutch – I like to wear it with jeans and heels it is not only elegant but a lot of fun. Stylish with a twist!”

What is Fuzz working on now?

Currently, Carmel is busily working on your favourite new look. “I’m currently working on putting together a new range, (which) will probably include bags and belts along with some great neck pieces.”

“I will also be extending the Fluoro range as it has been really popular and think it will be a hit for summer,” Carmel says.

Looking into Fuzz’s future

Fuzz is expanding into fashion, so be sure to keep an eye out for their range of street fashion that is both casual but cool.
