"What you essentially get is jewellery with a past and future and I love the notion of that. I think it is like when heirlooms are past down generations, there is an invisible importance each heirloom holds due to its rich history and I feel the same way about each of my treasure box pieces."

A child of Europe

Born on a post graduate trip to Europe the eponymous label is the result of Lisa Marinucci following her dream. Inspired as much by her father who operates his own business and Hungarian mother with a family tradition in dressmaking and design, Lisa set out to find her path and discovered her muse on the streets of Florence.

"I came across this amazing little shop where they made jewellery on site. The girls would sit at the back of the store surrounded by beads and make pieces in between serving customers. They would then hang their newly made wares in the shop for sale… I decided then that that was what I was going to do. I just loved the shop and the whole idea so much"

Lisa Marinucci jewellery is a wonderful blend of old and new, material and theory alike. It's a seamless mix of cultural influences and her creative principles are steeped in the charms of the past - modern in design, yet often using classic and vintage materials Lisa aims to create high quality, enduring jewellery that can be worn today, tomorrow and treasured forever.

Shown to much acclaim at Mercedes Australian Fashion week in Sydney and exhibiting alongside some of Australia's top designers at Preview, the label is adored by the industry as well as its customers. Lisa Marinucci pieces have adorned some of the worlds most glamorous and recognizable persons; Toni Colette, Jennifer Hawkins, Sophie Faulkner, Sonia Kruger, Gretel Killeen and Lee Furlong are amongst the labels fan club yet it's the everyday woman who is the actual inspiration for Lisa.

"The greatest thrill for me is being out and seeing someone wearing one of my pieces. It is such an honour to have people love and wear my pieces and I will never tire of the joy simply seeing someone wearing a piece brings."

"There have been so many things that have been wonderful to experience and achieve from getting my first stockist when I just started out to see my pieces splashed across 3 magazines on one day to having a celebrity wear a piece of mine. Things like finishing a new collection are also what I consider great and getting my first international stockist. They have all been great moments which have made great days. "
