Sisters in Style – Jewels and Art Made By White.

Two sisters with a life long love of jewellery, clothing and all things unique, Lyndsay and Kelly White had the perfect partnership to establish a successful fashion label. With combined backgrounds in design and retail, the White gals found they rarely found quality jewellery that suited their style and began designing their own pieces.

“We wanted them to represent what we love, admire and think jewellery should be about. We believe that jewellery should be modern and different, it should make people stop and take notice, it should make a statement about who you are - but most of all it should be fun, because that’s what life is all about - right?” says Lyndsay.

Up, Up and Away!

Their debut collection comprises of nature-inspired brooches, girly bow necklaces and cute little characters, in a range of jewellery, wall hangings and badges. Just try to pick your favourite piece - There are just too many adorable creatures to choose!

The hugely popular design ‘Up, Up and Away Swallows’ (top) was inspired by the traditional flying ducks that adorned the walls of many a home in the 1970s. The girls re-designed the piece based on the same concept, but replaced the somewhat dated style of the ducks with elegant and stylistic swallows in vibrant red and jet-black. These have been snapped up for many a wall crying out for a splash of colour. “We think these design ideas all play their part in making the wall swallows one of our most popular products,” Lyndsay says.

Meet the Spooky Duo

Another irresistible piece is the cute little Spooky Duo brooch (above). “We have always loved the idea of a 2 part brooch and what better characters to team up but a bat and a ghost - A Spooky Duo, guardians of the night.” With sterling silver chains to link the duo, the pair are ready to add a little personality to any outfit.

Finally, in keeping with the theme of all things nighttime comes the Nightwatcher necklace. Avid owl lovers, Lyndsay and Kelly transformed the owl shape into an eye-catching neckpiece. “Wise, mysterious and even a little bit cute, our Nightwatcher is the perfect feathered friend to wear out and about, night or day.”
