Let us introduce you to Premonition founder and designer Premal Patel. After honing his talents at Sydney Whitehouse Institute of Design, Premal first launched his label in 2002 with a mens' collection, filling the gap in the market for guys form fitting shirts for all seasons. The mens' range is now renowned for the vibrant colours and great shape, complementing the male physique by broadening the shoulders and nipping in the waist (no wonder the boys love them!).

Based on the huge success of the guys range, Premal released his womens range in 2005. He wanted to create a wardrobe to compliment the menswear range by drawing inspiration from designs found in NYC, Europe and Hon Kong. The results are street smart, colourful and original designs with international influence that are wearable and affordable.

High flying gear for the jet set gal (and guy)

Patel's latest range will appeal to the high flying, fun loving set. “It's I guess a fusion encompassing a modern career women who's stepped straight out of British Vogue, blackberry in hand and the more rugged male counterpart who's lax attitude but sophistication and confidence always manage to hold him in high stead” says Patel.

The collection draws heavily from international influence and the electricity of nightlife. “The cosmopolitan bevy of colours, musical styles, races and atmospheres across the board have brought no less than the foundations of my range”. Key colour ways include severe charcoals and steel like metallics paired back with deep shades of plum, hues of brown and flashings of scarlet red.

Deep V and scoop necklines, micro mini skirt lengths with blouse sleeves and waisted fits through the torso describes the trend in women's wear for the season, while button-up henley's V necks, classic slim-fitted shirting and multi pocketed cargo overalls sees the boys well suited for the winter months.

Premonition continues to please by using the most suitable of fabrics with a keen eye for quality and comfort. Autumn/winter provides its wearer with a natural tone within its fabric pallet from lighter jersey knit wools and smooth crushed silks to textured cottons and heavier brush drills.
