Luxe jewellery designer Samantha Wills has been making her mark on the Australian fashion scene since the tender age of 21.  A short four years later, she is designing jewels to adorn some of the world’s most famous women, including Nicky Hilton, Cher, Nicole Ritchie and Jamelia.

Jack of all trades..

Samantha began her career in TV and radio, after completing study at Nida and The Max Rowley Media Academy.  As well as launching a successful jewellery label, she is also an old hand at event hosting, fashion reporting and modeling.
The Samantha Wills label was born in 2003, while Samantha was working as a retail assistant and selling her wares on the weekends at markets.  After gleaning inspiration from a sales seminar, Samantha decided to make her mark on Mercedes Australian Fashion Week.  Renting a $500 space on a showroom wall, Samantha walked away with $17,000 worth of orders – A resounding success, we say!

Samantha now operates out of her two-storey showroom in Alexandria, Sydney.  She is now stocked in top boutiques internationally, and her designs strut down the runway at MAFW every year.

Enjoy the Journey is the tenth release from Samantha’s label, which also features the debut of her highly anticipated leather collection.

“I found these beautiful photographs of my parents taken before I was born” Samantha says.  “I realized that I had only ever seen that part of their lives where I was involved and I had never really understood their own journey up to that time; where they had traveled, how they met and fell in love, their own youthful passions and hopes.  Yet here was that story laid out in the photographs.  It became the inspiration for this collection.”
