Bettina Liano moves into Brisbane's Fortitude Valley.

Leading Australian fashion designer Bettina Liano has opened her first store in Brisbane on Fortitude Valley’s ultimate retail strip, James Street.

The opening of Bettina Liano’s first Brisbane boutique saw Brisbane’s finest flock out to enjoy a balmy night of shopping. It was a mix of young, pretty things, seasoned fashionistas as well as Olympic Swimmer Stephanie Rice, ex-Big Brother turned Zoo Keeper Claire Madden and Erin McNaught’s mom...all whom did a spot of shopping.

While sipping on Verve and nibbling on delightful canapés from Harvey’s, guests were treated to a one-on-one personal stylist session to find the perfect jean that flatters the female figure. It was a successful night with plenty of happy guests walking out with Bettina’s signature yellow shopping bag.

The Fortitude Valley store is Bettina’s second store in Queensland - with the fashion houses’ first store opening in Surfers Paradise’s Circle on Cavil just over a year ago.

“Fortitude Valley is a bustling designer-retail hot spot so it makes absolute sense to be there. I am very excited about the new store and we look forward to sharing the ultimate shopping experience with our Queensland customers”, says Bettina.

Making a total of eight boutiques Australia-wide, the new James St boutique has the largest floor space of the retail network and exudes the contemporary Bettina Liano innovative store design - providing the ultimate retail atmosphere.

The store opening coincides with the anticipated arrival of the Spring/Summer 2008 Swim Collection. The chic new store will also introduce a one-on-one personal styling service. Bettina's trained sales team will be on hand to help tailor a signature Bettina Liano look that is entirely unique to each customer.
