On Friday the 9th of November, the fashion world descended on Sydney Harbour for the exciting launch of Australia’s first Eco Fashion Parade presented by Green Pages.
The runway show was a part of the launch of the 2008 Green Pages Eco Directory and Magazine, with over 400 special guests from the fashion industry, media and the environmental community attending to see green fashion in action. The guests were treated to sumptuous organic food and beverages while they watched over a dozen of Australia’s most innovative designers prove that the most exquisite, sexy and wearable fashion can be created using sustainable fabrics and manufacturing processes.
Among the ‘green’ designers showing their wares on the runway were Akira, Gorman, Nudie Jeans, Vixen, Sara Victoria, Rachael Cassar, Camilla, Bird, Cloth, Romance was Born, SiX, India Flint, Pure Pod and more.
