Swap My Style - Sydney Launch!

February 20th, 2008 saw the launch of Australia's first Swap My Style event, held at chic Surry Hills bar DOME. More than 150 Sydney Swapaholics turned up for the inaugural girlie fashion event, set to roll out across Sydney and other capital cities in Australia later this year.

Guests arrived from 6pm and were able to check in between one and five items for the swap including clothing, accessories, shoes and bags. For each item submitted, guests were issued a token which they could use to "buy" an item of similar value on the Swap floor.

Meanwhile, luxe ladies mingled with an air of anticipation waiting for the Swap Floor to open, while enjoying $5 French champagne, complimentary canapés, specially designed DOME cocktails and free CARGO makeovers before the swap floor opened.

The Swap Shop opened at 7:30pm, revealing a cornucopia of fashion delights to behold! After browsing the racks, trying things on and making their selection, lucky swappers were seen exiting with Carla Zampatti, Hussy, Scanlan & Theodore, Zara, Cohen & Sabine, Allanah Hill, Third Millennium, Gucci, Guess, Jigsaw and more. Every guest got a goodie bag on exit to celebrate the launch and left with that air of satisfaction that only a swapper knows.
