Bali-based clothing label Coco and Ginger's 2014 collection is out now. Titled "My Island Home", was inspired by designer Saffron Pugh-Blaby's life in Bali.
"This collection takes as its muse the island of Bali itself," Saffron says. "Bali is my starting point, its' culture - the intricate ceremonies and traditions that you'll stumble on at any time. And I've blended those ideas with the vibrant colours of Bali's natural environment, such as the black-sand beaches, the jungle, the blossoms you might spy walking through a rice paddy."
All ethically produced using a women's collective, silks and cottons in the collection traverse a summery palette of lilac, jade, purple, sunny yellow, lime green and shell pink.
The look captures a relaxed island vibe, with the clothes cool, flowing and effortless to wear. Slip on flip-flops, a flower garland and some turquoise nail colour and you're good to go! "Shapes this season are long and flowing, skirts are full for spinning, and pants loose for comfort".
This Coco and Ginger collection is a reflection of holidays in Bali, but translates worldwide to those dreamy holiday memories we all have from our childhoods.
