The 2014 Critics’ Choice Television Awards put on a show last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Honouring the best and the brightest on the small screen, the nominees looked ever so stylish on the red carpet. Taking out the big gongs were Orange Is The New Black and Breaking Bad, but our focus was well and truly on the fashions.
Emmy Rossum looked like a modern-day goddess in a one-shoulder pleated magenta frock by Monique Lhuiller, belted at the waist. And she topped it off with gorgeous turquoise teardrop earrings and heels by Stuart Weitzman.
Kat Graham marches to the beat of her own style drum, rocking a funky quiff and edgy-chic pantsuit by Escada. The navy suit is transformed by the silver mirrored detail on the blazer. And Graham adds silver hardware and metallic Brian Atwood pumps to enhance the look.
Diane Kruger never puts a foot wrong on the red carpet, looking ladylike in a floral, strapless dress.
Keri Russell from The American takes the plunge in a racy black-and-gold dress with fishtail train. We think she looks stunning, and love the crimson lip!
Laura Prepon looks perfectly pretty in a knotted front maxi dress by Alice + Olivia. We just love the nude tone, sexed up with black lace details.
Kaley Cuoco, nominated for her role in The Big Bang Theory, kept it elegant and boyish chic in a pinstripe harem short suit by Amen. Yes, it could’ve veered into Hammer pants territory, but Kaley manages to keep it red carpet appropriate, adding simple black pumps and a classic cat-eye.
Michelle Trachtenberg wears another inspired design by Alice + Olivia. The former Gossip Girl star’s gold lame V-neck gown, accented with a studded waistband, perfectly accentuates her curves.
Carrie Preston from The Good Wife and True Blood looked totally stunning with her trademark red hair, slicked back and worn with a sultry blue smoky eye.
Tatiana Maslany from Orphan Black wore a simple up ‘do and wool crepe cream dress by Cushnie et Ochs with draped overlay, which perfectly complemented the balmy summer weather.
Uzo Aduba, taking out the Best Guest Performer award for her role in Orange Is The New Black, looked luminous in a gold dress and braided crown.
