In fashion terms, Blake Lively is not usually what you would call understated. Perhaps it’s a case of nominative determinism but when it comes to clothing, she definitely ain’t deathly! She has an awesome figure and is not shy about showing it off in her usual super fitted, look-at-me, glamourtastic outfits.
Last week at the premiere of Turbo, the movie, Blake’s look was positively demure (for her)! A matching twin-set, no less, of fine knitwear, simple nude pumps, lose curls and natural makeup.
But she didn’t completely go all Desperate Housewives on us. No, her fabulous sheath skirt, though it had a modest hemline, was bejewelled and dazzling.
We loved it.
