Floral prints ruled women's wardrobes throughout Spring, and now Summer makes way for prints and patterns of a different kind. Tribal and Aztec; animal and nature inspired prints; stripes, spots, skulls and everything in between (which admittedly does include flowers... but hey, did you really think they would go away completely?) Funky and vivacious printed clothes are one of the hottest trends for the season and we've got three ways to work the look for less than $200!
Look 1 - Make A Statement - $185
Make a patterned skirt your stand out piece by pairing it with a silky tank top in a neutral colour. To keep the outfit dressy and fun opt for a neon coloured clutch and choose bold jewellery like a chunky bracelet or a statement necklace. Finish off the outfit with a pair of nude or black patent pumps and you'll be ready and raring to hit the town!
Look 2 - Clash It - $180
From clothing and accessories, to canvas prints and homewares, to the hard thing that holds in your brain, skulls are absolutely everywhere! So why not take this somewhat gothic trend and mix itwith some printed pieces? Keep in mind when clashing prints and patterns, it's usually best to stay within the same colour family.
A skull muscle tank and loose printed pants will create a casual look that's perfect for a day time summer barbeque or afternoon drinks with friends. Pair it with some ballet flats or sandals to keep that relaxed feel and add a little silver jewellery to finish off the look.
Look 3 - Pop That Colour - $170
Get into the hottest season with an ensemble that shouts bright, happy and colourful! Choose bottoms like bold coloured denim shorts and pair with a dressy printed top. Add a patterned clutch into the mix and rock some statement jewellery like a cocktail ring or bejewelled and bedazzled earrings. Peep toes or wedges will give your look some extra bite and will have you ready to dance on into the night.
Which look do you like the best: 1, 2 or 3?
