The new year is a great time to refresh and refine your wardrobe and get your hands on some new quality additions that won’t cost the earth. Cue The Great Summer Clothes Swap, a place where your unloved and unwanted clothes become currency for new clothes to love.
Keen op shoppers, swappers and anyone with an interest in responsible fashion are invited to join in the great swap and stay for hands-on workshops and make and mend sessions.
The Clothes Swap - Five items maximum.
It’s simple to get involved. Bring along your quality but neglected clothes and exchange them for swap tokens which can be used to ‘purchase’ new items. To qualify for swap tokens, items must be gently used or as-new. No faulty or stained clothing - give quality, get quality!
1.00pm – 2.30pm - drop off your items to swap in exchange for Swap Tokens
3.00pm – start swapping
4.00pm – swapping ends
They have local stylist Hannah Gray of The Clothing Cleanse on hand to offer styling advice during the swap.
